Violence on TV: What Happens to Children Who Watch?

A study of nearly 2,000 children found that boys exposed to violent television content at ages 3.5 to 4.5 were more likely to exhibit antisocial behaviours as teens. These behaviours included physical aggression, theft, threats, and involvement in gang fights, with no similar effects observed in girls.
